Carroll til Liverpool?

Paul Ttereve argues: “Surely the Carroll deal is just the kind of deal that Liverpool should be making. He made a hugely impressive England debut and whilst obviously a diamond in the rough he exhibits all the signs of being a hugely talented footballer and he’s YOUNG too.” Yes, sure. It’s just too much money. I can understand Man city paying that much for him, but then they also probably shop in Waitrose and only ever buy expensive deli-style sandwiches on fancy non-crap bread. Liverpool are more Tesco and perhaps the occasional fancy coffee. – Barney Ronay

I'm pretty much in love with a data. Or, the knowledge we can extract from it. Or, rather, the better decisions that can be made based on said knowledge.

I hold a M.Sc in Sociology a MA in Historical Social Enquiry (Social History + Historical Sociology + Global Development), and work as Information Management Lead at the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. I guess you can call me a Computational Sociologist of Global Development and Humanitarian Action. No less.

That's pretty much it, really.
